The Robotics Academy at CMU has announced it is offering a free online robotics course for Boy Scouts and Boy Scout Leaders to help them earn the new BSA Robotics merit badge. Designed to be taken any time of day 24-7, the Scouts will learn how to program LEGO and VEX robots using a simulation world. The software that participants need is available as a 60-day free download, allowing plenty of time to complete this training. The site also contains a forum where Scouts or Leaders can ask questions. Each class will be recorded and the recording will be posted for future use.
There are also many other free online robotics courses offered by the Robotics Academy. Whether you’re a student interested in joining a robotics team, a 4-H Member interested in the 4-H Robotics curriculum, a would-be robotics team mentor, or you’re just plain interested in robotics, here’s your chance to learn!
Just register and let the learning begin! All of these courses are available online for free!
