Panasonic has just released three robots designed to help keep the aging population in their homes.

As approximately 450 million baby boomers worldwide retire, with 77 million in the United States alone,  they will have a significant impact on the world.  Health care needs of this aging population will make demands on an already stressed and costly system.

Shortages of medical personnel to deal with this large aging population, unprecedented increases in the cost of delivering care, spiraling costs of nursing home stays, as well as current dismal global economic conditions will require a novel solution that will ultimately encompass a myriad of technologies that are being developed and refined every day.

To help meet these needs, Panasonic has announced three robotic solutions to help you (or your loved ones) stay at home. Click on the pictures below to read about Panasonic’s home health robots.
